Trusted Recruiter is proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading manufacturer of specialist seating and postural management solutions supplying the NHS across the UK.
Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced NHS Northern Regional Manager to lead an established and successful team covering the North of England.
This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving regional growth, developing strategic NHS relationships and supporting a team of highly skilled Area Sales Managers who work closely with NHS Wheelchair Services.
We’re looking for an individual with extensive experience within specialist seating and postural management, combined with either previous sales management experience or significant leadership responsibilities within a senior clinical or commercial role.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Regional Manager or a Senior Seating Specialist ready to take the next step into leadership.
The Role
Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager, you will have full responsibility for the commercial performance and strategic development of the NHS business across Northern England.
Leading a team of five Area Sales Managers, you’ll be responsible for creating a high-performance culture through coaching, mentoring and supporting your team to achieve both individual and regional objectives.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Leading, coaching and developing a team of five NHS Area Sales Managers.
· Conducting regular one-to-one meetings, performance reviews and field coaching.
· Reviewing sales pipelines, KPIs and territory plans to maximise regional performance.
· Supporting your team on customer visits, demonstrations, assessments and business development opportunities.
· Developing strategic relationships with NHS Wheelchair Services and key decision makers.
· Conducting structured business reviews with major NHS accounts.
· Creating and implementing regional account development plans alongside the National Sales Manager.
· Driving revenue growth across the region while maintaining exceptional customer relationships.
· Supporting the successful launch of new products through education and clinical engagement.
· Delivering training and educational events to clinicians and NHS stakeholders.
· Attending exhibitions, conferences and customer events throughout the region.
· Encouraging continuous professional development and technical excellence across the team.
This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on customer engagement, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both developing people and working closely with NHS customers.
About You
We are looking for an ambitious individual who understands both the commercial and clinical aspects of specialist seating.

You will ideally possess:
· Extensive experience within specialist seating and postural management.
· Strong knowledge of NHS Wheelchair Services and their clinical pathways.
· Previous management experience or significant leadership, mentoring or coaching responsibilities within a senior clinical or commercial role.
· A proven ability to build long-term relationships with NHS clinicians and key stakeholders.
· Experience developing strategic NHS accounts.
· Strong commercial awareness with the ability to drive sales performance.
· Excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills.
· The ability to motivate, inspire and develop high-performing teams.
· A full UK Driving Licence.
