Full-time Trusted Recruiter is proud to be working exclusively with a leading manufacturer in the mobility solutions sector, currently looking to appoint a Home Lift Surveyor in Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong technical and client-facing experience to support trade and dealer installations across the UK.
The Role
As a Home Lift Surveyor, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring “right first time” installations by conducting accurate site surveys and liaising with both internal teams and external partners. You’ll be responsible for managing multiple projects from order through to installation, supporting trade/dealer networks, and delivering technical training where needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive surveys to eliminate abortive installation visits.
- Manage and monitor dealer projects from order through to installation.
- Support and train dealer personnel in site surveying best practices.
- Collaborate with the installations team to coordinate scheduling.
- Represent the company with professionalism and technical expertise.
- Assist in resolving site issues and liaise with contractors on-site.
- Maintain compliance with current building regulations and internal H&S policies.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- CAD drawing skills (training on software provided).
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
- Problem-solving mindset with experience negotiating on-site.
- Knowledge of DDA and building regulations related to disabled access.
- Ability to plan your diary, manage site visits efficiently, and stay overnight when required.
- Computer literacy is essential.
