Trusted Recruiter are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established manufacturer within the specialist seating and mobility sector, for a Specialist Seating Engineer covering the South East of England.

Territory

Primary coverage includes London, Kent, Essex, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Norfolk, Surrey, East & West Sussex and Northamptonshire, with occasional support across neighbouring counties including Hampshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and Rutland.

The Role

You will deliver, install, assess, adjust and service specialist seating equipment directly with customers in their homes, care homes and clinical environments. The role combines technical engineering with customer-facing assessments and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

· Deliver and install specialist seating equipment.

· Assess clients’ size and postural requirements and adjust seating accordingly.

· Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.

· Carry out servicing, preventative maintenance and fit accessories/components.

· Provide demonstrations to customers, carers and clinicians.

· Manage your own diary and schedule appointments.

· Complete service reports using digital systems.

Candidate Profile

· Experience with mobility, medical or rehabilitation equipment is advantageous.

· Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude.

· Excellent customer service and communication skills.

· Able to work independently and manage workload.

· Full UK driving licence.

· Willingness to travel throughout the South East with occasional overnight stays.
