Trusted Recruiter is proud to be partnering with a leading medical devices organisation to appoint an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead and shape their UK & Ireland commercial operation.
This is a high-impact leadership role combining strategic influence with hands-on execution, ideal for a commercially astute sales leader with a passion for developing high-performing teams and driving sustainable growth.
The Role
As Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering national sales strategy by bridging commercial leadership with tactical delivery. You will lead a national field sales team, manage distributor partnerships across the UK & Ireland, and take ownership of regional revenue performance, tenders, contracts, and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead, mentor, and develop a national team of Sales Specialists and Engineers
· Drive assessment volumes, conversion rates, and regional revenue growth
· Deliver structured 1:1s, field coaching, performance reviews, and development plans
· Own and manage UK & Ireland distributor relationships
· Onboard, train and activate new partners
· Oversee UK tenders and contracts with full sign-off responsibility
· Contribute to national sales strategy and long-term growth planning
· Own UK sales budget including forecasting, expenses, and contribution targets
· Analyse competitor activity, market trends, and customer data
· Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Clinical and Operations teams
· Provide hands-on territory cover during vacancies or absence to protect revenue
About You
· Proven sales leadership experience managing and developing high-performance teams
· Strong medical device industry knowledge with an established professional network
· A data-driven mindset with strong forecasting and analytical skills
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
· A customer-first approach with high ethical standards
· High levels of resilience, organisation, and commercial acumen
· Willingness to travel extensively across the UK & Ireland
· A full UK driving licence
· Comfort operating in a home-based, field leadership role
