Overview
Trusted Recruiter is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and highly respected distributor of powered wheelchairs. As part of their continued growth, they are expanding their Powered Wheelchair division and are looking for two experienced mobility professionals to join the team covering the North of England.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a major development project for 2026, working closely with the leadership team to help grow and shape this key area of the business. For the right candidates, there is real potential for career progression as the division continues to expand.
The Role
You will be responsible for proactively promoting and selling powered mobility products directly to end users across your territory. You will follow up on leads generated online and through mobility retailers, arranging appointments to carry out assessments and product demonstrations.
Key responsibilities include:
• Promoting and selling powered wheelchairs and active manual wheelchairs
• Following up on enquiries from online leads and mobility retailers
• Arranging and conducting client assessments and demonstrations
• Demonstrating both prescriptive and non-prescriptive powerchairs
• Building relationships with mobility retailers and referral partners
• Supporting the ongoing growth of the powered mobility division
• Providing expert guidance to customers to ensure the most suitable mobility solutions
The Opportunity
Our client is investing heavily in growing their Powerchair and Active Manual Wheelchair division and is looking for two professionals to join the team as they take this part of the business to the next level in 2026.
This role offers the chance to work closely with the leadership team, contribute to shaping a developing division, and grow alongside the business.
About You
The ideal candidate will have strong experience within the mobility sector and a good understanding of complex seating and powered mobility solutions.
We are looking for someone who has:
• Powered mobility or wheelchair sales experience
• Knowledge of complex seating, powerchairs, and active manual wheelchairs
• Experience conducting assessments and product demonstrations
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A proactive and self-motivated approach to sales
