Our client is a well-established UK manufacturer of specialist seating solutions, trusted across healthcare, care, and community sectors. They design and produce high-quality, bespoke seating that enhances comfort, mobility, and wellbeing for users nationwide.
The Role
As a Sales Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing new business and managing key customer relationships within your territory. This is a field-based sales role, supported by a strong internal team, where you’ll combine commercial drive with genuine purpose — helping customers find the right solutions to improve lives.
You’ll:
· Identify and secure new business with dealers, care providers, and distributors.
· Develop and execute a territory plan to achieve and exceed sales targets.
· Deliver engaging product presentations and demonstrations.
· Manage existing accounts, ensuring excellent service and identifying upselling opportunities.
· Conduct on-site or remote assessments alongside clinicians or OTs (training provided).
· Represent the company at exhibitions, trade shows, and customer training sessions.
About You

You’ll bring
· Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development, ideally within healthcare, mobility, or specialist furniture.
· Confidence in building relationships and closing deals across varied customer types.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
· Strong organisational and self-management abilities.
· A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within your region.
Desirable
· Experience working with occupational therapists, care homes, or specialist postural needs.
· Knowledge of seating, mobility, or healthcare equipment (training provided).
